Baltimore has the people, institutions, universities, businesses, culture, and entrepreneurial energy required to become a major center for emerging-technology talent.
Our city is located near federal agencies, healthcare systems, research institutions, defense contractors, universities, and a growing technology economy. However, many residents remain disconnected from the opportunities developing around them.
The Output Project seeks to change that.
We believe Baltimore and its surrounding communities can become a national hub for preparing skilled workers in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, healthcare technology, information technology, and other high-growth industries.
Instead of allowing local talent to remain overlooked—or allowing employers to continuously move jobs abroad because they cannot find trained workers locally—we want to help build a qualified workforce here at home.
When Baltimore residents are prepared for the jobs of the future, the entire community benefits.

Crime prevention requires more than enforcement. It requires opportunity, direction, belonging, mentorship, and a reason to believe in the future.
The Output Project gives young people constructive alternatives by exposing them to technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional careers.
We help participants understand that their decisions today can shape their opportunities tomorrow. Through mentorship and positive role models, we encourage them to reject destructive paths and embrace education, discipline, creativity, responsibility, and personal growth.

When we build the minds of young people, we strengthen families.

When we strengthen families, we improve neighborhoods.

When we improve neighborhoods, we change the future and image of Baltimore.

Together, we create opportunity. Together, we build a better Baltimore.
